The plaid shirt

Why did it take me that long to post an all black outfit is what I found myself wondering last week! So I decided to share one of my all time favorite looks/theme for the season : an all black OOTD.
I love this style because it is simple but yet elegant and, of course, you can never go wrong with black!
One thing that I love to do, if you haven’t noticed, is to jazz up any look with a statement vest. This plaid blouse is a timeless item that never goes out of style. It is the the piece of clothing you forget in your closet for years then take wear it again as if it was the style of the year.
You can style it so many different ways : all (buttoned up) for a hypstery look, opened up for a more casual look or tied up around the waist for this very modern grunge style. I opted for the last one in this outfit since I used the blouse as an accessory for the look to complete the whole thing. By wearing it around the waist and making a node at the belt level, you can achieve a sexy yet very casual look.
I hope your Valentine’s day was filled with love and happiness and I am looking forwards to reading all your comments and suggestions. Until next time, I wish you all an amazing week!
